Terms of Use – Shop

1. Registration and access
1.1. In order to use any of the services and content provided by JHW Library, the Customer has to register for a personal user account via the respective website/mobile application. The Customer is solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of his user account and for all activities that occur on or through Customer’s user account, and the Customer agrees to immediately notify JHW of any security breach of his user account. JHW shall not be responsible for any losses arising out of the unauthorized use of his user account.

1.2. The contract between JHW and the Customer for the purchase of the service and/or content shall be concluded by the execution and termination of the order process by the Customer and by confirmation and acceptance of the order by JHW. The confirmation will be sent by e-mail to the Customer.

1.3. Online access to the services and content of JHW to be paid for by the Customer will be granted only after receipt of payment by JHW.

1.4. The use of the services and contents offered via JHW requires an active data connection. The Customer is solely responsible for all technical requirements for online access. Any costs related thereto shall be borne by the Customer.

1.5. JHW cannot be held liable in case of delay, malfunction, or disruption in displaying the content on JHW website, unless JHW acts in gross negligence or wilfully. Due to the nature of the internet and mobile devices, JHW accepts no liability for the uninterrupted availability of JHW website/mobile application.
